Interview with Virginia Miguez Martín, Strategic Alliances Manager of Intel Corporation Iberia

1. What have these two years working with Fractalia meant for Intel?

   Fractalia has been working in close collaboration with Intel for more than two years. It is a partner which fundamentally develops innovative solutions for the IT market in three areas: complete PC lifecycle management, managing dynamic advertising systems and distributing software as a service (SaaS).

   Throughout these two years we have been contributing to interesting projects for clients like Telefónica, Vodafone, Red.es, Banco de Santander, Banesto, hotels and supermarket chains. In these projects, Fractalia provides its customers with remote solutions for large-scale PC management.

2. In you opinion, what technologies have adapted best to our Fractalia Manager software?

   In September 2006, Intel launched Intel® vPro^TM technology on the market, which meant a real change in the way IT directors and companies think about and use PCs. From the very beginning, Fractalia was able to make the most of the remote management advantages and improved security offered by Intel® vPro^TM technology. It incorporated them into its PC management solution, which has enabled it to achieve a significant return on investment for its customers. Fractalia was particularly interested in Intel® vPro^TM technology because of two key capabilities: secure remote re-start and secure remote start-up, which enabled it to eliminate a large part of visits to work stations to perform the typical activity of equipment pool management. Companie's major needs having to do with security risks, total cost of ownership, assigning equipment, asset management and upgrades, are all met by the joint remote management solution consisting of Intel® vPro^TM technology hardware and Fractalia Manager software.

3. What new projects are in the works in the partner programme for premier members like Fractalia?

   Members of the Intel® Channel Partner and Intel® Software Partner programmes have first-hand information on products, sales and marketing tools and even online training, this helps them sell products and solutions based on Intel® technology, as well as promotions for the channel, free software and controller downloads, which constitute a guarantee programme for the channel.

4. What new developments and future campaigns are planned for developing and optimising our software product?

   Intel continues to develop new technologies that offer new functions to processors. AT-p technology (Anti-Theft Technology) for laptops is one of Intel's new developments that will be included in Fractalia Manager. It enables you to remotely block computers that have been lost or stolen.
